Ability to support work for/in other offices Works in harmony with Project Automation Lead and Lead Designer to ensure the integrity of the discipline’s modeled data for use throughout the project’s lifecycle. Serves as a member of the project team and assists junior staff and junior engineers by assisting with finding answers to technical questions and concerns. May provide others with information, sketches, and examples for the creation of less complex plans, sections, and details. Begins to produce grading drawings, utility piping layouts or collection network piping layouts for others, under the direction of senior designers and engineers Demonstrates proficiency beyond basic CAD operations such that the individual is capable of providing support to others on the project team. Proficient in Civil specific 3D modeling tools and building information modeling (BIM) such as Bentley InRoads/GEPAK, or Autodesk Civil 3D.. Specific work traits for this discipline: Preparation of Schematic and standard drawings. Preparation of Base map from the survey data. Preparation of Sewerage Network layouts and schematic drawing for trunk main. The minimum qualifications for this position are: Minimum 5 years for Water or Structural Engineering and Design projects An appreciation of FE structural analysis tools and structural design software Possess skills in AutoCAD or MicroStation – latest version Possess skills in Bentley InRoads or Autodesk Civil 3D or Revit or other Civil/structural related BIM software Continual improvement orientated Preferred Skills/ Qualification Excellent written and oral communication skills in English Ability to interact personally and confidently with members of the design team A working knowledge and familiarity with BIM (Building Information Management) would be advantageous in the delivery of projects. Some construction experience would be an advantage; Demonstrable evidence of progression towards professional registration status would also be advantageous Creative and Practical/ Adaptable and Persevering / Good communications, Interested in using computers for design work, calculations, and testing designs Ability to produce neat and accurate technical drawings Experienced with other BIM software and Bentley ProjectWise or Autodesk Vault Candidates with relevant experience are requested to apply.
