Ensure all SCM operations comply to statutory requirements Budgets & Cost controls : Determine the operations budget of the warehouse and share the same with the Head – SCM for financial planning. To carryout monthly analysis of Budget Vs. actual P & L warehouse wise, identify variances, follow-up and ensure improvement measures. To work out the storage capacity for each concept at WH – Compile Norm Vs Actual and raise alarms – Follow-up for corrective measures. Space & Infrastructure : Based on Business Plan to work out and ensure sufficient space availability at WH’s to meet the peak volume. To equip all WH’s with sufficient storage infrastructure, MHE’s and other allied support. To equip all WH’s with Fire & Safety equipments, Smoke detectors, CCTV and other safety / Security appliances and ensure all in working condition. Transportation and Logistics infrastructure : To identify and induct a pool of reputed Transporters and Couriers and tie up with them on annual contract basis. To ensure Transportation SOP is in place. Monitoring and evaluating the performance of Courier & Transporters and ensure better performance and corrective measures are in place. Ensure optimum capacity utilization and reduce the costs in the long run through negotiations Plan for outbound transportation in terms of existing and new modes of transport and dedicated routes to reduce the cost impact Warehouse Operations Management – Home Centre : To monitor and coordinate with WH’s on daily basis and to ensure all the key operational parameters are under control and the SLA’s are achieved as per the target. To monitor the analyze damages and implement effective control measures to reduce the same. To monitor and ensure effective Home delivery with optimized costs. To monitor and ensure merchandise handling are as per SOP and highlight exceptions appropriately. People Management : Plan, organize, motivate, delegate, train, monitor and track expectations set Candidate should have experience in handling Supply Chain for Fragile Products. Candidate should have SCM Experience in Home Furnishing Retail and Consumer Durable items.
