Create and execute team plans and towards short term and long term goals. Scope and create SoWs for contracts and work with 3rd parties to complete the contracts Develop Linux/U-boot drivers for I/O peripherals Develop tools and environments to enable customers to use our hardware including Device Tree Generator, QEMU etc Contribute to the architecture of our system software solutions Work with different teams to identify problems and create solutions Do hands-on work with hardware Proficient in the design, implementation, documentation and testing of software code implementing product features and requirements Proficient in skills, tools and methods to advance the quality, consistency, and timeliness of Xilinx software products Understanding the inter-dependencies and complexities inherent in developing a highly integrated software product and performing collaboratively to strive for perfection Independently develops code to implement assigned features of low-moderate complexity, working with appropriate stakeholders to ensure the implementation satisfies the feature requirements Collaborates with the software test and applications teams to ensure adequate test coverage for assigned features Researches and critically assesses external industry best practices as input to process re-engineering discussions Proactively identifies and delivers solutions that reduce development and support costs Capable of leading or developing a single project in its entirety Qualifications Master of Engineering in Electronics/Computer Science plus at least 11 years of professional experience Proficiency in C/C Direct experience with a range of computer systems, especially Linux, networking, scripting (Python, Tcl, Perl etc) and parsers. You must be capable of working in a dynamic, high pressure environment. You will bring expertise in some of the following areas: Linux kernel, U-Boot, Yocto Project, QEMU, XEN, ARM TrustZone, Power Management, and/or Android.
