Oracle – Bangalore, Karnataka – Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions. As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods. Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience. Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES: – Review functional/design specifications and develop detailed test plans. – Create test data and execute test cases. – Design and develop automated test scripts for regression testing. – Track defects from discovery to resolution. – Work in close cooperation with product owners, developers and release engineers. REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE : – Good knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies. – Experience with Functional/Manual testing – Experience in test development automation. Use of functional automation tools like QTP/Selenium. – Knowledge of Oracle Application Testing Suite a plus. – Basic core Java knowledge – Experience with complex integrated software applications in multiple environments – Agile experience. – Driving clear test requirements and acceptance criteria in advance of coding with scrum teams – Working towards meeting QA definition of done within expected time. – Ability to work in global scrum teams – Good problem solving skills – Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, outstanding attention to detail – Ability to work on multiple projects against aggressive deadlines – Qualification BS/MS in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent – Quick Learner with Aptitude for QA… – Permanent – Full-time
