Xilinx – Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh – Job Title: Senior Design Engineer 1 – 150670 Primary Location India-India-Hyderabad Job: Software Engineering Schedule: Full-time Description Job Requirements: Will be responsible for testing and verifying Xilinx Software Tools Debug of failures – sometimes involving multiple components of the software and/or interaction of hardware, software, simulation, timing etc. Create and source a wide variety of designs which can be implemented and validated on FPGA boards Develop/architect methodologies for HW validation for different types of designs and silicon features Skills Requirements: Self driven, motivated, results oriented individual with superior academic achievements Excellent communication skill for working remotely with global team BS in EE or equivalent with at least 8 years of experience (or MS in EE with 6 years experience) 6 years FPGA/ASIC design/verification experience Strong understanding of Xilinx FPGA architecture and tool flow Strong experience with debugging of failures on hardware board Good understanding of logic design and HDL (Verilog/SV/VHDL) Good understanding of power sensitive designs and power consumption methodology Knowledge of simulation, synthesis and Timing Analysis Strong knowledge in PERL/TCL/C-Shell Additional Requirements: Understanding of power centric designs in VLSI chips and its impact on power saving.
