However for func Job Description – Disaster Recovery (15000951) Job Description Disaster Recovery – (15000951) Description Role Summary/Purpose: The Disaster Recovery Analyst will report to the Site Director India. However for functional direction, this person will take direction from the Senior Director, Global Resiliency Program. This role will be primarily be responsible for documenting, implementing, testing, and providing day-to-day support of disaster recovery business continuity and crisis management efforts for Epicor Software’s critical IT systems, infrastructure and facilities. Responsibilities: Disaster Recovery · Review Business Impact Analysis and conduct systems Dependency Analysis. · Develop, update and maintain Technical Recovery Plans (TRP) aka Disaster Recovery Plans · Maintain current documentation for the TRP for all critical systems. · Coordinate all scheduled Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity exercises. · Work with Site BC Lead business leaders as appropriate, to tier critical application based on criticality criteria and business requirements. · Ensure technology solutions align with business expectations as identified by the RTO and RPO in the Business Impact Analysis. · Conduct at least semi-annual review and update of the Technical Recovery plan. Testing · Develop and maintain testing schedule Create and conduct annual process for updating of TRP Lead and assist with the planning and conducting of drills/exercises. Coordinate the debriefing following each drill/exercise and make appropriate changes to the plans. Maintain current information on data center equipment (generator, UPS, air handling systems, etc.). Operational Other Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity operational support including but not limited to: · Participate in Design Review meetings and assist with gathering technical requirements/documentation from various teams · Assist with putting together documentation for Technology Standards Assist with other tasks assigned by manager Other duties as assigned Qualifications · Qualifications: BS or BA degree (preferably in a management or technology related field) or any combination of equivalent education, experience, and formal training that allows the candidate to meet the requirements of the job. 5 years proven business continuity planning/testing/analysis experience within the IT technology services industry · At least 5 years working knowledge of Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity & Emergency Operations. · Must have working knowledge of conducting Business Impact Analysis and Systems Dependency Analysis. · Ability to work with various technology teams in developing recovery plans, test plans and scripts. · Must be able to work with all levels of management and staff to successfully develop, maintain and implement appropriate plans and programs to support a disaster recovery/business continuity environment and also to handle emergency situations.
