You will be responsible for providing analysis, design and development leadership in delivering solutions in serialization domain. You will also help establish our next generation serialization framework, drive implementation of guidelines, and deliver solutions. Essential Responsibilities: – Participate in the technical development of GEHC’s Web/Fusion middleware applications. – Partner and work closely with the Product owner to translate requirements to design artifacts and collaborate with architect to deliver solution – Monitor application code quality through development, test, and QA. – Ensure compliance with architecture, security and technology standards set by GEHC. – Provide insight and guidance based on lessons learned and best practices – Demonstrates experience multiple programming languages such as JAVA / J2EE, Struts, Servlets, ADF and PL/SQL – Understanding of Oracle Fusion middleware and knowledge of integration components. – Partner with GE Healthcare Business Applications Center of Excellence (COE’s) to apply standard development procedures and detailed applications knowledge in area of responsibility to create technical designs driving towards simple, sustainable, and reusable solutions. – Maintains peer relationships across IT & Functional areas (infrastructure, operations, COE, etc) to support effective implementations. – Collaborate with Vendor resources to drive implementation by owning the delivery of the solution Qualifications/Requirements: Quality Specific Goals: – Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position – Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines. – Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required. – Responsible for data integrity of the system inventory, as applicable. – Responsible for the validation of all GxP relevant applications and maintaining the validated state of those applications. – Aware of and comply with the change management work instruction. Qualifications: – Full system development life cycle hands-on experience: analysis, designing, code review, testing, performance tuning and documentation. – Minimum five years IT/Functional programs development or design experience or equivalent. – Minimum of three-years of experience with various programming languages (ADF, JAVA / J2EE, Struts, Servlets and PL/SQL) – Working knowledge of Oracle Pedigree and Serialization Manager (OPSM) – Understanding database technologies (Oracle 11g) – Significant experience with web and applications servers (Weblogic, iPlanet, JBoss) – Significant experience with interacting and consuming web services – Experience with Application tools (eclipse, JDeveloper) – Experience with process quality methodology – Excellent written and verbal communication skills – Analytic, creative and business focused problem solver – Demonstrated leadership in all areas of business analysis, including client interaction, process design, requirements management and functional design – Experience with Agile (Scrum) and test driven development – Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously – Ability to explain issues and resolutions to technical and non-technical staff. – Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent.
