EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS You will ensure service availability 7 x 24 and service quality for our sport and entertainment customers and customers of other P&I Industry Cloud solutions Take ownership for driving and continuously improving the operational part of our Services You will be a link between service- and operation-teams and development EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Required skills University degree (BE, MSc.) in Computer Science or a related subject Very good knowledge of Xen-virtualization Very good knowledge of Linux-/Unix-server environments (configuration, tuning, operations) Very good knowledge of Apache2 and Nginx web-servers (configuration, tuning, operations) Very good knowledge of MySQL- and/or MariaDB-servers (configuration, tuning, operations) Very good knowledge of profiling and performance analysis techniques Good knowledge of Operating PHP and SQL based cloud solutions on LAMP stack ITIL certification Good communication and teamwork skills Strong analytical skills and initiative Motivation to work in international and distributed teams Preferred skills Experience in planning and operation of networks Experience with high-availability environments Knowledge of SAP technology stack incl HCP, HANA, HANA XS, HANA XS advanced Experiences in programming with scripting languages Python, Perl, Bash and Ruby Experience with Chef and Puppet for automatization Experience with Agile/SCRUM development methodology WORK EXPERIENCE Total Experience is 5-7 years At least 2 years practical experience Cloud Operations LOCATION Bangalore (India) EXPECTED TRAVEL 20 % SAP’S DIVERSITY COMMITMENT To harness the power of innovation, SAP invests in the development of its diverse employees.
