Delhi – Content Head Our client is an online travel company and has been consistently recognized as one of India’s best travel portals. In addition to a full-service online portal, the company also operates through 59 retail stores across 37 cities in India along with international offices in New York City and Sydney. Our client is looking for Content Head. The profile will primarily work to create and architect Content Strategy, be responsible for Content Partnerships with established and individual entities; and lead a team of content specialists who will be responsible for engaging, innovative and original content for website and social media from start to finish. The Content head needs to be able to interact and liaison with Technical & Product Teams to be able to drive product integration. The person needs to have aptitude to see a business road-map for content and drive efforts to establish MMT as the start point for any Travel Research & Planning. Responsibilities : – Lead a Content Team and put in place Content Strategy across Editorial Content, Blog Content, Video Content – Having a vision for the Content and influence how Content can impact business fortunes – Manage Senior Leadership expectation and drive alignment for Content Roadmap and its business/brand effectiveness – Maintain a productive working relationship with writers, designers and other internal stakeholders cross functionally – ability to strike content universe partnerships – Lead a team of Content Creators and Editors and steer their efforts to align execution with Content Vision and Strategy Roadmap – Possess strong industry intelligence and domain knowledge – Strong skills for efficiently preparing content for publication – Conceptualize ideas to enhance the existing products on the site – Responsible for creating content for the fast paced social media – Responsible for generating content that drives interaction within the target market Required Skills : – Master’s degree in journalism, English, communications or a related field – Min. 4 – 7 years of content writing & creation experience – Additional 3-5 years experience in Content Marketing & Management – Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail – Ability to manage a team of Content Creators; Ability to strike effective partnerships across the content universe – Managed a content team, and worked on brands that thrive on content marketing – Internet savvy-Knowledge on all aspects of website (text, graphics, images and designs), keywords and meta tags – Writing across different platforms(mobile, web) – An excellent communicator, sensitive to language, and comfortable composing in language on demand – Mentoring team members The more the merrier : – If you are a blogger, you are one step closer – If your friends call you a Grammar Nazi, we are waiting for your edits – If you can publicize in 140 characters, the account of the little bird is yours – If you can give killer ideas for making videos, then we are game for you – If you are a Pinterest aficionado, let us create boards and pin together Words, concept, a thousand voices, passion, imaginary friends, experience and flair in every medium including the ones they- re still trying to invent.
