Good command of spoken and written English. Ability to communicate with business users as well as technical IT people. Independent contributor as well as a team player. Good problem solving and diagnosis skills. Good supervisory skills. Ability to work under pressure and occasionally off normal office hours. Experience in investment banking background will be an advantage. Technologies: Proficiency in Corporate Center IT (CCIT) systems and platforms. Proficient in Unix/Linux in terms of commands and everyday trouble-shooting skills. Proficient in Windows environment and trouble-shooting. Qualifications: University graduate in a science or maths subjects. Knowledge in Corporate IT services (ie Finance, Risk, HR, Operations and Reporting). Responsibilities of the successful candidate will include: Escalation support contact to business users. Supervision of the Singapore support team and ensuring a high standard of support service is provided to users. Day-to-day support and monitoring of the various Corporate Center systems used by front-office, middle-office and back-office users. Problem analysis, diagnosis and resolution. Documentation of various types of applications and processes. Staff management in Pune involving mentoring, training, leave coordination within the Corporate Center IT(CCIT) team in APAC and across UBS world-wide where applicable.
